The two compact offshore boats make everybody feel enthusiastic: They run strikingly well in rough sea conditions.

The 5.5 Compact model is the ideal partner for everybody who is interested to find a boat being on a par in terms of the space provided by a 6 m long RIB. Here is a listing of 5.5 Compact features which you would normally expect on 7 m long inflatable boats: storage box for your mono skis, bow and stern anchor case, lifebuoy holder and a pantry with a wash basin and a fitted fridge (optional).

Since we are a first-class producer, we provide excellent comfort even in the smaller types of inflatable boats.

At customer’s option, superstructural parts such as the INOX/GRP equipment racks or the control panel can be turned down. This allows you to pull your boat into a garage which is not higher than 2 m. The HARBECK company manufactures a tailor-made trailer for us which guarantees your boat a safe winterizing in your 5.5 m long standard-size garage. With just a flick of the wrist you will have “shrunk” your 5.5 II to a convenient size.

Due to its great seagoing features and the B-certificate as well as the huge volume of the tanks (max 130l) the boat can travel long sea distances.
Due to its “Deep V” hull and composite GRP manufacturing the boat cannot be overstrained at swell and withstands hardest mechanical stress. Even if your engine does not provide more than 44 kW (60 PS), the fast going hull gets the 5.5II into a speedy slide.

Basically, we supply two versions depending on taste and intended use:

The first version is made to a standard design: We fitted the driver’s console into the stern section and placed an upholstered box seat with a backrest in front of it. The upholstered couch can be extended to build a large lounger measuring 2.6 m x 1.25m. The design of the extension allows you to easily stow it in the bow stowage container. On customer’s request we supply a table pedestal. In the nick of time you can combine this pedestal with the couch extension for the purpose of folding up a seating arrangement for four people. These are optimal preconditions for having a relaxed picnic on board of the Pischel RIBLINE 5.5 Compact.

The second version makes it possible to fit in an additional row of seats between the bow seating bench and the control panel. This model provides no seat box in front of the control panel. The second row of seats with the fold-away backrests has the additional advantage that you can easily travel long distances either standing up or sitting depending on whether you fold the backrests up or down. Additionally, the space below the seating console has been prepared to have a standard washbasin and the WEACO cool box built in as standard features.

The 5.5 XL represents the classic in our ribline armada. Authorities, sailing academies, divers or just customers in need of a spacious boat may find that this model is their ideal partner. In addition to the bow anchor locker, it features a bow and a stern storage box, the latter having been embedded in the GRP hull. The tanks are in the tweendeck and fixed just like a ballast keel under the control panel which is 70 cm wide. You can fit in a second row of seats with a console for standing up or sitting just as you may do it with the 5.5 II Compact model. The dimensions of the 5.5 XL boat let you rather think of a 6 m long RIB. Therefore we were able to boost the engine up to a maximum output of 103 kW (140PS). Even a full throttle run will hardly put the wind up this bull.

The step hull is ideal for a top speed boat like this. This hull technology required an enormous potential for development. For this reaso we developed this hull in cooperation with an engineer renowned for offshore boats in 2003.

The boat features standard 1670 D/Tex Orca Hypalon, multiply bonded seams, a huge amount of lugs and a tube which has been completely bonded to the GRP hull. The hull is laminated with composite matte with the hand lay-up procedure.
